The Creative Juices are flowing when you can sit down and start to write a well thought out story. How does one prepare to get from the planning to the writing steps.
The ways can vary depending your your style and for each individual writer. How does a write come up with names, for me sometimes I used baby names books, sometimes I can looking at boxes with words on them to come up with a name.
When developing the plot the best way for me most of the time is to listen to music, and depending on the type of music the words start to flow about the situation I am hearing in the songs. Sometimes I can sit in a bar and people watch and come up with some of the best material. The scenes could be a simple or a complex love scenes, or something as telling scene from as simple as some type of relationship.
What types of materials do you use to prepare yourself to write a rough draft? Do you have a pencils, pens and papers to begin, a manual typewriter or simply a computer? No matter what your writing preparation style is, it is all part of the writing process.
Now the next step is to have your dictionary, and other writing aids that you want to use, as well as any music that you like that inspires you to write. The process sometimes can be as easy as 1.2.3, and as difficult as putting pen to paper and getting the creative juices flowing.
How do you prepare to write? No matter what you style is when the words start to flow you will not want to stop until you hit a stumbling block, and you stop briefly before you continue.
