United We Stand — Divide We Fall

Never in the history of modern time has our country been more divided especially in the government. The government is elected by the people and for the people.

We have American hurting, and their stress and tensions are raising. We have Systemic racism that has now become embedded as normal practice within today’s society. Gone are the days when we thought we had moved passed the 1960’s, but the last four years proved us wrong.

America is build on hopes and dreams of a better life, how is dividing our nation and keeping the poor down when the times get tough then complain about the homeless problem. As the economy grows, the minimum wage has stayed the since July 24, 2009. The average rent to rent a one bedroom apartment in 2020 was $1.098.

A person making $7.25 per hour average monthly income is on $1.160, and that is before taxes. Now in even a person making $15.00 per hour for a total of $2,400 per month again before taxes, which leaves a person only $926.00. Now subject your electricity, gas, and phone plus food that leaves you maybe with 200.00 a month to live on.

America must work together, to make a better life for their fellow man, but right now we are so divided. The time for helping out your fellow man has never been more needed as it is now. The…
