To Read or Not To Read

How do people decide what to read and what not to read? Would love to know how some people jump out by leaps and bounds.

What makes one article different from another, is there a title that makes a different, or a subject of specific topic that makes a different. It amazes me that when people click a link that they click long enough to see what it is, but not long enough to read.

I wonder how a person would prefer to read, fake news, over something true and real. It is hard to believe how gullible people are, and how much people do not want to read, a story or do research before diving in.
