Hollywood Walk of Fame Created To Preserve Glitz and Glamour
The purpose of the Hollywood is maintain the beauty and glamour of Hollywood, and the memories of the stars of yesteryear. However, while out filming the stars of Hollywood, it has become quite obvious that the stars are not being maintained as intended. Several stars along Vine Street located between Sunset Blvd, and Yucca have fallen into a serious state of despair.
The Walk of Fame is administered by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust. It is a popular tourist destination, with an estimated 10 million annual visitors in 2010. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce holds trademark rights to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
For what ever the reason may be the stars are not being maintained as they should be. There is even a section that is covered not allowing the stars to be show cased as they should be.
As you can see how bad the Stars have been overlooked and not repaired this has occurred over a number of years of not being maintained and repaired in a timely manner. When contacting the chamber all they have to say is that they don’t have the time to check out each one of the stars. It is only about a two to three hour walk along the entire walk of fame. Perhaps they need to take care of what they got, in order to keep history from dying and disappearing all together.
