Hollywood Christmas Parade
On November 28, starting at 6pm the 89th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade is slated to return to the streets of Hollywood. The parade was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The one that that will be missing this year is the annual concert that is held before the start of the parade.
The parade will be hosted by Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain, and Montel Williams, with special co-host Elizabeth Stanton. This year the Christmas Parade will be presented in compliance, with CDC rules and regulations, which are in place at the time of the parade.
The Hollywood Christmas Parade began in 1928, as the merchants transformed a one-mile stretch of Hollywood Boulevard into “Santa Claus Lane,: to boos shopping. A big part of the promotion would feature Santa Claus and a film star.
The Christmas parade would air nationally on the CW network and internationally on the Arm Forces Network.
