One of the biggest pieces of Hollywood that still exists in most of it’s classic form is the Broadway theatre district. The theatre district and movie palaces was the home to Vaudeville, and movie premieres. The world premiere for Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights on January 30, 1931 at the new Los Angeles Theatres.
