It was Thursday, April 7, 2022, that became a great day in history for women. The 116 Supreme Court judge was appointed and Ketanji Brown Jackson became the first black woman appointed to the Supreme Court. It also is the first time in history that four of the nine judges are women.

She is the first black woman confirmed as a Supreme Court Judge, for the first time. It only took 233 years to make this happen, she is the first black woman confirmed and one of four women to serve on the Supreme Court. History was made for women. She is definitely one of the most qualified judges in years.

The fight for equality for women has happened, and women are finally starting to get a voice in history. Let no man ever stop a woman from her dreams of greatness.
