Never Give up
No matter what we are facing in our daily lives, we must always carry on, and continue. If you are a domestic survivor, just know that you have the power to get out and make something of yourself.
It made me hard but I did it I got both my Associate degree, Paralegal certificate and Bachelor’s degree. I for years suffered at the hands of my abuser, not just physical, but emotional, mental and financial abuse as well. I am still struggling, but my creativity is coming back to me everyday.
For years I was afraid to speak, because of being cut down of what I have to say is wrong. The sad thing is that he is still using women and taking advantage of them because he cannot make it on his own. However on the brighter side, I am out of that relationship. I am a survivor, and I am learning to tell my story and becoming a strong advocate for domestic violence survivors.
