Oscars, Red Carpet

The pandemic that ravaged the world has turned the entertainment industry upside down. The Oscars which normally air in February will not air until April 25, 2021. The Golden Globes plans to air on Sunday February 28, 2021 a later start date than normal.

However the awards are voting now, and we will find out the winners of 93rd annual Oscars will announce the winners from movies released last year. Some of the movies that is having some Oscar buzz include:

17 SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENTS TO BE HONORED WITH ACADEMY AWARDS®

On Saturday, February 13 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will honored 17 scientific and technical achievements represented by 55 individual recipients, and two companies in a virtual Scientific and Technical Awards presentation.

The show was hosted by filmmaker Nia DaCosta (“Little Woods”), with guests Academy President David Rubin, Kathleen Kennedy, James Cameron and Doug Roble, and feature special segments highlighting innovation and women who work in science and technical aspects of filmmaking.
