2020 Tumultuous Times — Panademic to Civil Unrest
Over the last year the world has gone through some pretty difficult times from being locked down to try to stop the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), to the death of George Floyd, which lead to the massive movements for justice.
All races felt the challenges of living together as one in full peace and harmony. However there is a statue of the Four Ladies on Hollywood Blvd, that represents each race.
The four ladies of the silver stars are Delores Del Rio, Dorothy Dandridge, Mae West and Anna Mae Wong. A fifth lady sits high atop which is Marilyn Monroe.
During all the uncertainty of the times these four ladies represents four different races, standing side by side in perfect peace and harmony. In the year 2020, we became more divide as a nation, and learning the history of these four ladies intrigued my curiosity.
